According to the development of the guardrail industry, wrought iron guardrails were early products, and then zinc steel guardrails and aluminum guardrails were gradually developed. From the names of these three products, we can see that the raw materials used for these three guardrails are different, which is where their differences lie.

Iron guardrail is definitely made of iron. When other metals were not yet developed and utilized in the guardrail industry, iron was undoubtedly the preferred metal for making guardrails. Iron guardrail was first introduced to China from Europe and America and has been used ever since.
Zinc steel guardrails are made of zinc alloy steel, and both zinc alloy and steel have stronger performance than iron in all aspects. It is more advanced in terms of production process.
Aluminum guardrail, hence its name Siyi, is a guardrail made of aluminum material. The characteristic of aluminum is that it is lightweight and not easy to rust, giving it a higher grade appearance. This is also why aluminum guardrail is more commonly used in some high-end residential areas and villa areas.
Iron guardrails are becoming less and less commonly used in China, while zinc steel guardrails are widely used in residential areas, road engineering, industrial parks, and other scenarios. However, aluminum guardrails have not been widely used due to their cost.
